Lisa Kerrigan
Mrs. Kerrigan is beginning her 12th year as an educator in Aldine ISD, where she has dedicated her career to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of elementary students.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Sam Houston State University.
Mrs. Kerrigan is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where every student feels heard, valued, and empowered to succeed. She believes strong partnerships among students, families, and educators help children reach their full potential. She is excited to serve the students, families, and staff of Worsham Elementary as the school counselor.

Texas Comprehensive Developmental
The Aldine ISD counseling department follows the Texas Comprehensive developmental Guidance and counseling program which is an integral part of the total educational program. It provides a systematic, planned approach for helping all students acquire and apply basic life skills by making optimal use of special knowledge and skills of school counselors. This program is based on four components, which are as follows: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive services, Individual Planning and System support
